Ah...I need both.
as shared I am going to be certain I do not already have an acts converter 
box, Scott's idea with its record and  media play sounds like there may be 
access barriers to the technology.
I do  like Channel master as a brand, the thing about the less expensive 
model is that there is only one of them left in stock.  Amazon Canada is 
easy, only  in terms of how well their site is behaving, will be calling 
tonight because they are messing with my browser again sighs.
may seek a less layered converter box then Scott's model, or hunt the 
manual before I buy.
Still I have a single investment solution that gives me a start.
