I deeply miss the ancient Flight Simulator with the polygon graphics. 
Third-party add-ons made it infinitely customizable, just about any way
one wanted.  When Microsoft took it over and made it photorealistic, all
that got taken out of our hands.  BUT, all I have to do is develop some
decent OpenGL chops, and I could have it all back.
