ssh works but scp does not

The remote server is configured to accept connection from my home 
computer by accepting rsa keys exchange.

I have no problem to connect there by SSH in that way.

However, scp does not work. I am asked for user password.

I of course googled this problem, but nothing reasonable comes.

The remote server is a commercial server I have an account bought, I 
have no full access there.
