Unfortunately there are bits of most computers that like to be kept at
least slightly temperature controlled, so your hardware may not be too
happy with the move from the server room to the HVAC system. Having a
CPU-as-heating-element* would involve you in some building engineering
with years of inertia. This isn't too compatible with upgrading your
mining hardware on a monthly basis.
Still, bitcoin mining is a little like Formula 1 or the space race. I
have no interest in participating, but it sure could bring the price of
some technology I could use to a sane level.
