Help getting mutt and ssmtp to use non-default "From:" address

Probably, you need to put "set envelope_from" in your .muttrc.  Why this
is not the default I'll never know though.  The other possibility is
that your MTA is setting this.  I have this setting in my
postfix/main.cf:

# appending .domain is the MUA's job.
append_dot_mydomain = no

Take a look at those types of things first, and then we'll dig deeper.
