Cannot sync with J-Pilot

Not sure, but I don't think my Visor is dying. It works perfectly every time
with the Gnome-Pilot daemon (though I have no way to transfer data other than
Avant Go with that, which is why I'd prefer to use JPilot), and the only time it
shows those messages, as above, repeating is if I hit the button on the cradle
repeatedly.
