Thanks Evan, we'll miss you !
;-)

Tomorrow, (unless more people start putting the brakes on) we'll
gather at linuxcaffe, round 7pm, to discuss general applications for
FLOSS in our education system, how it should be introduced, where the
greatest benefits would be, where the greatest barriers to adoption
exist. how it might be implemented and supported. Well keep minutes
and draft a position paper afterwards.

We will also take the opportunity to focus on an initiative to
assemble, configure and deliver a turn-key computer network to a
school administration in Nigeria.

As a bonus, the Toronto Linux Meetup group meets here on the first
Tuesday, and if we're lucky, we can harness some of their creativity
and enthusiasm towards the above mentioned projects.

see you there,
djp

PS, if you know anyone who you think should attend, especially school
system reps, please do it !

Also, if anyone has presentation content, give me a heads up so that
we can prep the tech. k?

thanks,
djp
