Any autohiding dashboard/panel apps without tons of dependancies?

I can confirm that XFce4 has a autohiding panel. Although it uses the same gtk 
toolkit that Gnome is based on, it has been advertised as being less "bloated 
than Gnome. Whether that's true any more I'm not sure.
