I wasn't home, but I was experiencing similar outages according to my
housemate.  I suspect that iStop was having a wonky day - my modem and
filters are new, and when there was a problem the SYNC light was
flashing, but the hardware router re-connects periodically when the SYNC
is re-established, and did so.  Things seem okay now, but...
