System: FC2 on Compaq Deskpro EN (p733) 48X CD-ROM, backpack CD-RW, SBL!
5.1, 20 GB hda, 10 GB hdb, USR V.92 56K external modem
I can mount data CDs, but audio CDs won't mount or play:
Error. mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/cdrom,
or too many mounted file systems.
Here are my "too many mounted file systems" (incl. CD-ROM) as reported
in /etc/fstab:
LABEL=/1 / ext3 defaults
1 1
LABEL=/boot1 /boot ext3 defaults
1 2
LABEL=/data1 /data ext3 defaults
1 2
none /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620
0 0
none /dev/shm tmpfs defaults
0 0
LABEL=/home1 /home ext3 defaults

LABEL=/lnxdatabkup1 /lnxdatabkup ext3 defaults

none /proc proc defaults
0 0
none /sys sysfs defaults

LABEL=/usr1 /usr ext3 defaults

/dev/hda8 swap swap defaults
0 0
/dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom udf,iso9660
noauto,owner,kudzu,ro 0 0
/dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy auto
noauto,owner,kudzu 0 0
FC2 hardware browser reports the CD-ROM as "CDD-1480 Manufacturer:
Unknown Driver: none or built-in Device: /dev/hdc".
I've tried this with several working audio CDs and get the same msg each
time.
Any ideas?
