access to Mandrake install over the net

AFAIK, all those links will lead to the ISO's.

I don't think they will ever release an updated ISO, which is why a net install
would be better in that regard for you, I guess.

However, the update after install is a simple matter of:

1. Configure update and other sources here:

http://plf.zarb.org/~nanardon/index.php

2. urpmi --wget --update --auto-select

takes about a half hour on broadband, and  yer up and running.

Most of the updates and bugfixes are just to do with KDE.

I believe you can get a Mandrake Live CD to boot from and do a net install, from
here:

http://www.pclinuxonline.com/

I'll check more on that later, right now my daughter's buggin' me to go to the
park!
