I need to figure out all the shortcuts on netconfig and all the 'new' stuff
myself, it is so simple to route -n and even netstat -taupen, ifconfig etc.

do you perhaps know which 'new' commands are most people using to quickly 
match a connection to a process, ip's etc and which other commands are most
people using now?
