[GTALUG] a quick question about power supplies?

My apologies for my tone.
I do not wish to seem as if I am throwing  the guy who built this machine 
under the bus.
Still he has about $12 thousand in equipment of mine he refuses to return, 
so.  Add in the likely avoidable supply thing and I am not always as kind 
as I wish with my words...sorry..
