   I have my backup script set up to create the mount point, mount my backup drive, backup, unmount the backup drive, then delete the mount point.  I did this in case I get a destructive cracker.  I was _very_ careful when I tested the script.  I do so appreciate the rmdir command.

   Most of my backup recoveries are due to me doing something stupid like the subject of this thread.
