Looks like a dns problem
$ nslookup torfree.net
nslooku;; connection timed out; trying next origin
p ;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached

$ nslookup freenet.toronto.on.ca
Server:        64.71.255.204
Address:    64.71.255.204#53

** server can't find freenet.toronto.on.ca: NXDOMAIN
