I have only read about the CuBox-i so far. I have the original CuBox
on my desk.

Here is a run on the original CuBox running Debian sid armhf:

# lame -V 2 04-Apologize.wav
LAME 3.99.5 32bits (http://lame.sf.net)
Using polyphase lowpass filter, transition band: 18671 Hz - 19205 Hz
Encoding 04-Apologize.wav to 04-Apologize.mp3
Encoding as 44.1 kHz j-stereo MPEG-1 Layer III VBR(q=2)

The Cortex-A9 should be faster per MHz than the PJ4 in the CuBox's Marvel
Armada 510, so the CuBox-i should be faster than what I got there.
I don't think I have any Cortex-A9 boards around at the moment.
