How stable is Debian Unstable?

Agreed, I am also looking art Mint Debian. I am still running Mint 12. I
got so used to rolling updates and releases with Mandriva. Who has the time
to reinstall everything twice a year? I also want to give Mageia a try
sooner rather than later.
