In the spirit of continuous quality improvement (of emails) I point out
that advise is a verb, and is used as in 'to advise someone'. The noun is
'advice' as in 'I would like to ask for advice'.

These two are often confused.

Further, they should not be confused with 'a vice' which is either (a) bad
behaviour or (b) a machine tool.
