Pan newsreader cannot be installed on Debian Sid

Thanks for the mention of ldconfig and checkinstall ... learned
something new today.

What I ended up doing was simply grab the old libgmime from Wheezy and
install it using dpkg ... that satisfied aptitude and it installed
pan.
