GTALUG put me onto the Vantecs on one of the previous rounds of "which
case is best," and I've been buying them ever since.  I can't really
speak to speed or being on for long periods, but I've used them a lot
in both USB and eSATA mode (the ones that have that available ...) and
been very happy with them.  Prices are usually quite similar to other
offerings.  I've always bought them through Canada Computers.
