I hadn't seen this before; looks interesting...

In effect, it's "RAIDing" encrypted data across a multiplicity of data stores.

There's intent to package it for Debian
<http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=544338>; doesn't
seem like there's anything fundamentally preventing that.  This is
presumably a reasonable way to use not-quite-trusted substrates such
as cloud storage (Amazon S3 and such) to store data securely.
