Can you get out with ssh? If so, you can use that to access your linux
box. Then you can use Xming to run x apps, including a browser or email
app, over ssh. Failing that, find a nearby Boingo hotspot (Starbucks,
Second Cup etc.) and get up to one hour free access per day, as a Rogers
internet customer. With many email apps, you can work off line and sync
when an internet connection is available.
