I have seen adapters for sale designed to allow Canadian land line
phones to plug in to the various sorts of European phone jacks (across
Europe there are several different phone jack designs used...). So, I
would assume the reverse to be true, if you could find the right sort
of adapter you could plug a European phone into a Canadian wall jack.
Where you could find such an adapter is a very different question, and
I have no idea as to the answer there. Further, unless the phone has
some special sentimental value, I don't quite see the point given how
inexpensive phones are here...
