System-reuse might have been a better term.  What I propose with
Atomic OS is to put RIA front-ends onto older, more proven systems.
(I have a great deal of respect for the giants that came before us.)

WebNews (aka "web news/web discussion/blog") is already out there and
not likely to go away - but bringing in some "respected" competition
might not be a bad idea.  :)
