Keyboard not working - Kubuntu 6.06

Probably not related, but I've had my keyboard cut off many times in
Ubuntu+KDE due to "Slow Keys"
It just suddenly cuts off my typing. At first I thought the keyboard
or controller was bad, as rebooting fixed it. However when it
re-occured later I discovered a "Do you want to activate slow keys"
modal window hidden behind all my other windows, which was blocking
all keyboard input.

Maybe there's one of those lurking on one of your desktops? I haven't
found a way to disable the "feature" entirely (apparently holding
shift will activate the dialog), but you can close the window and
it'll give your keyboard back until next time.

I hate it when things get in my way trying to be 'helpful'
