You don't need a @#$@#$ knoppix disc if the machine is working fine.

A simple shutdown -F -r now will cause a reboot with a forced fsck run
at the beginning of boot, and as long as someone is present to hit enter
if it asks stupid questions (which it rarely does) then you are fine.
