New computer - x64 or x32?

I run 64 bit SUSE 10.2 and it runs both 64 & 32 bit apps.  For example,
I have a 64 bit version of OpenOffice, but I run 32 bit versions of
Mozilla & Seamonkey, due to lack of 64 bit pluggins.  Of course, a 64
bit version of vi is quite useful.  ;-)
