I'd agree with making it as easy as possible for everyone, new folks
and veterans alike.

Instead of manually writing each notice and mailing it out to
TLUG-Announce a few days ahead of time, why not type the meeting
details into a DB and create a small cron-based mailer?  If data for
the next event isn't filled in, then it could simply notify the person
responsible for the notices.

An additional benefit of an automated mailer would be that it could
easily send notices to other nearby LUG's and CLUE without adding any
workload, limiting the potential for human error in the process.
