Firefox 2 "disappears" frequently on my machine and quite often, I do
not even notice until I try to use it and see that it is no longer
running. I have not noticed any discernible pattern for when this
happens. It could have something to do with one of the extensions. I
notice that my bookmarks sidebar is now grey so if I want to access
my bookmarks, I have to open up the editor. I stopped adding new
bookmarks to any of my browsers months ago and started using
Mag.nolia.com and have been generally happy with that so not being
able to access my local bookmarks is just an annoyance I have to deal
with when I want to access my "legacy" bookmarks.
