| I say "almost" because Firefox will crash every few days if
| I leave it up 24x7, but FF v2 does that even without Flash (memory
| leaks, I think). And I had to turn off sound alerts in Gmail -
| extensive testing with a patient friend proved that his sending me a
| message in the pager when I was on another virtual desktop was
| guaranteed to crash Firefox.

Firefox does have serious bugs. They probably won't get fixed without
them being reported.

One I experience once in a while is this:
  https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=263160
It causes Firefox the exit unexpectedly (technically it isn't a
crash).

It is hard to reproduce and so maintainers are not getting much
traction on it.

If you have a bug that causes Firefox to crash reproduceably, by all
means report it. It may be a version of an already reported bug. In
any case you may have something valuable to contribute.
