MythTv - the mythtv user

I have set up SuSE 10.2 on two computers and it was quite easy to get a mythtv 
frontend working.  As part of the setup, the mythtv user was created by 
something.  The fontend seems to function just fine with 'me' as the user, is 
there any reason to keep the mythtv user?
