And promise used to claim to support linux even though what they meant
was that they had binary drivers you could load on redhat and suse, if
you ran the stock kernel.  Dell has even claimed linux support on some
of their servers in the past using the same trick.  Dell claiming
support doesn't mean much without independant verification.
