Yeah, read that one this morning.  Unfortunately it isn't the only
rootkit situation involving Sony in the last week or so:

There are a bunch of comments that say SecuROM (by Sony DADC) is a
rootkit, but others that disagree.  In any event, I'll not knowingly
purchase anything further from Sony.
