yum-less PSC 1610 driver install?

I'm trying to install yum so I can install the driver for the HP PSC 1610. 
I'm getting failed ependencies on my FC2 machine. I don't want to start 
installing dependencies one by one -- I've tried this before and the system 
is never satisfied. Is there an easier way to install yum? Or is there a 
yum-less way to install the PSC 1610 driver>
