Evolution vertical panes?

I'm trying out Evolution for a week to see what features it has, and to
attempt to get a feel for the Gnome desktop (I'm a KDE fan). What I'm
wondering is if Evolution supports a vertical layout like the one
available in Thunderbird. I've poked around the menus and such but can't
seem to find an option to change the layout. 

Is this wrapping at 80 columns?

Thoughts?
