I sit corrected. I would note that the example above must have taken
some digging; the system Scott indicated came preloaded with Caldera
OpenLinux.
Maybe one should never say never, but that's a pretty obscure
counterexample. One could surmise that IBM toyed with official support
at one time but then, for reasons unknown to us, dropped the idea.
Certainly nothing publicly available in the current product line offers
a Linux preload option.
