Agreed, except for the part about everybody.

Boycotting the oxygen would be a vector for action, which might shake
loose a solution to the problem. Inaction and indecision are the ones
I'd worry about. (see first point)
Herein lies the value of "open communities" in my eyes. I love
google, but don't understand a bunch of their actions. So be it. I
don't work for them and have my own fish to fry. So while people are
talking about it, is there a better solution than "boycotting the
oxygen?"
