Are you sure that's the right model number? See this page for a list
of some D-Link adapters.

If you respond with the output of lsusb for your adapter, you may get
a better reply from the list.  Also, you should try dearching for the
vendor:device id of the device ( which looks like 046d:08ce, and is
output by lsusb and lspci ), possibly including linux in the search
terms, which usually will turn up information from people dealing with
the same problem you are.
