Microsoft trying to quash OpenDocument

Another point of what Mass. is trying to do is to assert their sovereignty 
over their own records, so that they're not beholden to one single supplier 
for ever and ever, amen.

And that is what a certain convicted monopolist can neither fathom nor 
condone.
