If you have yet to take the picture, you might as well use a digital
camera and forget about scanning. If you want to use existing slides,
then a scanner is what you need. Also, if this is a one time deal, you
might try having the scanning done at one of the camera stores. They're
all set up for transfering slides and negatives to digital formats.

When I bought my Epson scanner last year, it was availabe at Henry's,
but much cheaper at Future Shop.
