But that was only a problem because Bill didn't WANT to share it.  He
wanted to make money selling software.  He doesn't seem to believe as
much in making money writing and improving software as a service as he
does in selling software.

So far they seem to think the nly way is to sell the same software every
few years with a few improvements added.
