My wife and I were in Jamaica last year visiting her family.  The topic of 
computers came up with a few of her friends and their husbands and I got 
the impression that while there is interest down there Linux has not taken 
off as much as I would have thought it might.

There is a Jamaican Linux User Group but I didn't get a chance to go. OTOH 
I did go to Dunns River Falls, the Green Grotto Caves and do a bunch of 
other touristy stuff :)
