best place to put interscan with qmail

I have always been an advocate of virus scanning as the first thing as you
enter the messaging system and the last thing before you leave..
So incoming mail is sent to your Interscan then qmail for spam filtering.
The Interscan should be on a DMZ to mitigate any risk of a buffer overflow
exploit. 

When email is sent out of your network the Interscan should scan it before
it leaves the network.

unfortunately its not equiped will full pledge anti-relay..
