istop lines seem to be dropping like crazy

I haven't had any phone line problems.  The DSL synch went at 9:00a.m. 
yesterday...about 20 minutes after I read of some unspecified form to 
fill out to prevent that.

I note that there's a can.internet.highspeed newsgroup with a fair 
amount of activity.  (In case you're not aware of it and would like 
some extra points of view.)
