IMHO one the greatest things a LUG can do is find employment for members. 
Down at HUMBUG (http://www.humbug.org.au) we have always formerly 
encouraged posting of legitimate jobs that would be relevant to members.

As a contact on the TLUG website I have posted jobs I've received if they 
appeared to be legit.  I haven't received complaints over this.
