apache mod_proxy loading problem

hi,all

running Apache/2.0.54 on debian unstable. I am trying to enable mod_proxy but i got this error:

# apache2ctl -t
Syntax error on line 1 of /etc/apache2/mods-enabled/proxy_http.load:
Cannot load /usr/lib/apache2/modules/mod_proxy_http.so into server:
/usr/lib/apache2/modules/mod_proxy_http.so: undefined symbol: ap_proxy_ssl_enable

the .so file do exist in that location.

what is wrong ?
