Any Recommendations for Linux Friendly Digital Still Camera?

Apparently Nikon is in the doghouse over some kind of white-balance
encryption DMCA sillieness for their raw format and Adobe dropping
photoshop support for it. Sounded to me like a bunch of slashdot
wide-eyed-paranois, but you might want to check that it before spending
money.

I recently got a Panasonic DMC-FX7 that I'm pretty happy with.

http://www2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/vModelDetail?displayTab=O&storeId=15001&catalogId=13401&itemId=71422&catGroupId=24999&modelNo=DMC-FX7K&surfModel=DMC-FX7K&cacheProgram=11002&cachePartner=7000000000000005702

Haven't got around to plugging it into a linux box yet though, let alone
trying to control it from one.
