High Speed Internet and Modems and stuff

I've got Sympatico as well.

I'm running IPCop on a secondary box.  Setting it up was very easy
(once I figured it out - I had a case of stupid user syndrome).

So my linux setup just grabs its IP automatically and away I go.  I
had no settings or software to worry about from the desktop-side..
which helped me out a lot, and will continue to be helpful as I move
to test a few other distributions.
