Mounting an OS X hard drive, filesystem is... ?

Thank you for the heads up.

I finally got on of my machines running under 2.6.4 though I can't use 
it for the actual data copy. I am in the process of compiling 2.6.4 on 
my actual machine and will try then. If it fails, you will have saved me 
from losing my patience!
