Hi Sid,

Let me throw some light on the technology model for ringtones, etc. I
work for a telco and we have a number of servers from just such
requirements. Download of ringtones work on an IP network rather than
a GSM/CDMA network hence, a IP overlay is needed which is generally
provided by services like GPRS, EDGE, etc.

Bottomline, your client needs to hook up to a telco and put his server
in their datacenter where clients can download it via an IP overlay on
GSM/CDMA network.

OR

He puts it up on the internet with a frontend and then his clients
need to go to his frontend and download the tones after they log into
their IP overlay network from their handsets.

Regards,
Akshay
